Payment Options
In-home non-medical living assistance is not covered by Medicare but there are several other options to provide for the care:
1. Long-term care insurance usually covers the cost of most non-medical living assistance. You should check your individual policy to be certain of coverage.
2. Many Veterans Administration locations have programs which can help cover the cost of care.
- The homemaker/home health aide
program will pay for up to ten hours per week of care for a veteran. The
veteran’s VA physician must write the order for care and the physician
should specify Christian Companion Senior Care as the service provider.
- The caregiver respite program is designed to provide relief to the family caregiver by paying for up to 90 hours per year of our services. This is in addition to the homemaker/home health aide hours described above. This program must be ordered by veteran’s VA physician and the physician should specify Christian Companion Senior Care as the service provider.
3. State family caregiver respite programs. Some states have limited family caregiver respite programs that may help pay for care services. Contact your area wide Aging Agency for more details.

Testimonial
"I am new with Christian Companion Senior Care, but I have found these are the most caring people I have ever worked for and with. I have heard the expression "put the client first" and thought it was just a saying, but I have found that the people at Christian Companion really do just that. I really do love going to work, what a joy. They are truly a God send and are the nicest people!”
