Christian Companion Senior Care will host a grand opening celebration next week, according to a news release. Owner Lori Williams recently bought a franchise of the in-home care business, which originated in Oklahoma City in 2004. According to the franchiser's website, the enterprise now has 31 locations in seven states.

Oklahoma City-based Christian Companion Senior Care, the nation’s first senior care franchise to combine practical and spiritual assistance, sold two locations to Covenant Companion Care, LLC of Fort Smith, Ark. The Fort Smith, Ark. location will open in late fall 2010 and a Springdale, Ark., location will follow in the next six months.
