Christian Companion Senior Care began in 2002 as an idea. The company would provide practical, in-home care services to seniors who frequently struggle with loneliness, family dysfunction, regrets and depression. 

However, because seniors have more than just practical care needs, Christian Companion Senior Care would be specifically created to care for those seniors who desire spiritual encouragement as well.

Because in-home care giving involves inviting a complete stranger into the most personal aspects of life, adding a Christian aspect to the evaluation of caregivers creates a useful screening method to ensure the quality of Christian Companion Senior Care caregivers.

In 2004, Christian Companion Senior Care launched its first operations in Oklahoma City. This operation was the “pilot program” shifted an idea into fruition. 

By early 2007, Christian Companion Senior Care was ready to launch their second agency location in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

As the number of clients grew, it became apparent that Christian Companion Senior Care had developed a business model that offered uniquely beneficial living assistance. In late 2008, Christian Companion Senior Care began offering franchise opportunities across the United States. As the nation’s only Christian-based franchise for in-home senior care, Christian Companion Senior Care has sold 31 franchise units in seven states.
